Dances (having to do with girls choice dances)

Going to dances is one of the main things in high school. But it is not just going out that is fun. Everything about the whole day is fun. The day date, dressing up, dinner, and the actual date are the things that make going to these dances an awesome experience.

With people in high school, it would not be much fun if you just went out just as two. It is so much more fun if you have a group of friends with you to make you feel more comfortable about the day. You have more people to plan what you want to do to make it fun. For us it was blowing bubbles and playing games at one of my friend's houses. Having a group makes the games so fun because you have that many more people.

One of the greatest things about going to these formal dances is that you get to dress up. Sure it costs money and time, unless you have friends and family that wear the same size of clothes you do. For girls, we have a lot of fun putting on the dresses and making our hair all pretty because it makes us feel more like the princesses that we are. We spend lots of money for people to do our hair and makeup fancy, of course unless you get it done by your friend's personal stylist A.K.A. their little sister who is awesome. It seems we spend lots of money just for one night, and some will never wear their dress again.

All I have to say about the dinner is you spend a lot of money on it, unless you make food and eat at your friends house. It is fun because you have all your friends talking, eating, and laughing like crazy.

The dance might be the funnest thing, but I don't know. First we have to pay for the boutonniere, while they pay for the corsage, unless you have a mother that can make one. Then we have to pay for the ticket to actually go to the dance and we have to pay for gas to get there, and if you follow someone like Rachel who takes you around round-abouts and buildings, the cost will be more. The dance is fun because you actually get to dance with your date now and have a fun time.

Spending all this money is worth it though, because we feel like princesses in our dresses and we have gentlemen to dance with and open the doors for us. Thanks guys!
